Further Romsey Cycle Parking

Where Do We Need Further Cycle Parking in Romsey? - By Richard House

Test Valley Borough Council have announced that the winner of the recent Romsey Future quick win project vote and the recipient of up to £5,000, is the implementation of further cycle parking!
The next step will be to identify locations for the new cycle parking.  TVBC are hosting a meeting on Wednesday 8th February to consider ideas. If you are a cyclist in Romsey it would be great if you could share your thoughts & ideas with us and we'll take them to the meeting.
We've created a map for people to identify places that would benefit from further cycle parking and to identify existing cycle parking.  It would be great if you could review the map. Please feel free to amend the map directly, comment on Facebook or fill out the form below.
£5,000 is unlikely to stretch to all of these so we need to priortise. Here are a few some of our favourite ideas so far:
  • Market Place Roundabout
  • Memorial Park
  • Woodley Stores
It would be great to hear about your favourites.
It is also important that cycle parking avoids cluttering pavements and making it difficult for pedestrians, especially those with poor sight.
